Julie Gedro is the Associate Dean and Professor of Businesss at Empire State College / State University of New York (SUNY). She holds a B.A. in Economics and English from the College of William and Mary, an M.B.A. in Business Information Systems from Kennesaw State University, and a Doctorate of Education in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from the University of Georgia. Her research has been published in Human Resource Development Review, Human Resource Development International, Advances in Developing Human Resources, the Journal of European Industrial Training, and others. Julie is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Southern Management Association, the American Psychological Association (APA), and its Division 50 (Society of Addiction Psychology) and Division 44 (Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues). Her book on leadership, entitled Lipstick or Golf Clubs: What Lesbian Leaders Understand About Success, and What You Can Learn from Them (Chicago, IL: Discovery Association Press) was published in March, 2014. At Empire State College, her research and scholarship have earned numerous awards, such as the Jane Altes Prize for Outstanding Community Service, and the Susan H. Turben Award for Excellence in Scholarship and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellent in Scholarship and Creative Activities.

Robert M. Yawson, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Management and the Graduate Programs Assessment Coordinator at the Lender School of Business, Quinnipiac University. Robert has a BS in Chemistry and MPhil in Biochemistry, University of Ghana; Post Graduate Certificate in Food Management, Hebrew University of Jerusalem; MS in Science, Technology and Environmental Policy, Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota; and PhD in Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development, University of Minnesota. Robert is a member of several professional bodies and has participated and presented papers in over 50 international conferences. He has several academic publications including peer review papers in leading academic journals such as the Technological Forecasting and Social Change, R & D Management Journal, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Human Resource Development Review, Journal of Consumer Policy, among several others. Robert serves on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Business and Systems Research, and Articles Editor for SageOpen. He also served as the Track Chair Editor of the Organization Development and Change Track of the 2015 AHRD Conference in the Americas, the Associate Proceedings Editor of the 2016 Conference, and the Proceedings Editor of the 2017 Conference. Robert also served as an Associate Editor of the Social Issues in Management Division of the 77th Annual Academy of Management Conference and the Track Chair Editor of the Business Strategy Track of the 54th Annual Conference of the Eastern Academy of Management. 1n 2015, Robert served as Grant Applications Reviewer for the Israeli Ministry of Science, Technology, and Space. His current research is on using the "wicked problem construct" for leading organizational development and change and also using a systems approach to human resource development for emerging technologies. Robert was named the 2014 – 2015 Faculty Scholar for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning at Quinnipiac University.

Sunyoung Park, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the School of Human Resource Education and Workforce Development at Louisiana State University. Her research interests include organizational culture and behavior; learning and performance in the workplace; and research trends in HRD and related fields. Sunyoung served as the Chair of the International; Global & Cross Cultural Issues Track in the AHRD Conference in 2014-2016, and as the Associate Proceedings Editor of the 2017 Conference. Prior to joining academics, Sunyoung worked in the corporate and non-profit sectors in the area of human resource development and instructional design. Sunyoung has received several research awards including a 2011 Outstanding Paper Award from Leadership and Organization Development Journal, Cutting Edge Awards at 2011, 2014 and 2016 AHRD International Research Conference in the Americas, and Awards for Excellence 2016: Highly Commended Paper Award from European Journal of Training and Development. Sunyoung also received 2017 LSU Alumni Association Rising Faculty Research Award at Louisiana State University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Sarah E. Minnis, Ph.D. is the CEO and Principal Consultant at Anthology Consulting LLC. She has over 20 years of higher education, career advising, and organization development experience with ten years specifically advocating for veterans’ education and employment. As a recognized leader in research and practice addressing veterans’ transition and career development, Minnis has published and presented nationally and internationally on her research and expertise. Through her consulting practice, Minnis has developed a program of support and training to help higher education and employment communities better understand the value, and more effectively utilize the talents, of the veterans they serve. Minnis serves as adjunct faculty in the Education Administration and Human Resource Development program at Texas A&M University as well as doctoral advisor and subject matter expert with Grand Canyon University. Sarah holds a Ph.D. in HRD from Texas A&M University, an MA degree in student affairs from Western Kentucky University, and an MA degree in psychology from Central Washington University.
