The India HRD SIG welcomes the participation of individuals from all over the world, who are interested in enhancing opportunities to foster India –specific HRD research.

India HRD SIG Steering Committee Roles & Responsibilities:
A. Continuing Chair: Rajashi Ghosh
(Responsibility includes convening steering committee meetings, follow up on SIG goals/objectives/agendas, strategizing about connections with the Academy of HRD, India & other HR/HRD associations in India).
B. Incoming Co-Chair: Yogita Abichandani
(Responsibility includes strategic & operational focus on India HRD SIG Membership, i.e., sustaining current Members & recruiting new Members)
C. Publications Managers: Priyanka Doshy & Meera Alagaraja
(Responsibility includes Following up on AHRD Conference Proceedings papers on India HRD and encouraging the authors to submit to AHRD journals & also to recommend appropriate journals to the authors, Creating & Updating a List of scholarly & practitioner articles on India HRD topic, and Invite authors from India working on India HRD topics to co-author with India HRD SIG members so that they can get international publications).
D. Conference Event Planners: Yogita Abichandani & Priyanka Doshy
(Responsibilities include Organizing India SIG meetings, preparing promotional items to be distributed for the SIG at the AHRD conferences in the Americas & in Europe & Asia, and spearheading India HRD SIG Conference submissions.)
E. Online Communication Managers: Nisha Manikoth & Sanghamitra Chaudhuri
(Responsibilities include marketing/managing/developing All Online discussion forums like Conversations page, Facebook page, Linkedin page)
F. SIG Advisory Role : Gary McLean
(Responsibilities include advising on all strategic issues/initiatives/concerns of the SIG.)
G. Member At Large in a Scholar-Practitioner Role (Alpesh Nagar, Sanghamitra Chaudhuri, Gary McLean)
(Responsibilities include voicing perspectives of scholar-practitioners, especially those on the ground in India so that our SIG continues to be relevant to India HRD. Also, assist the Chair in networking with India HRD associations.)
