The HRD Theory Special Interest Group is a group of scholars and practitioners who are interested in creating, applying, and refining the theoretical foundations of HRD. The interests of the group encompass a broad view of the topic of theory, including the development and critical examination of theory in HRD, as well as the philosophical underpinnings of various theoretical and paradigmatic perspectives in the social sciences generally.
HRD Theory SIG Purpose
The purpose of the HRD Theory SIG is to provide a forum for interested scholars and practitioners to meet, discuss, debate, collaborate, and share and disseminate information related to theory and the theoretical foundations of HRD.
HRD Theory SIG Vision
The vision of the HRD Theory SIG is to develop both innovative leaders in the field of HRD and rigorous theoretical advances in the field.
