Career Development
Description of Track:
This track welcomes theoretical and empirical papers that provide insights into the academic and practitioner understanding of career development. Manuscripts focused on the connections between HRD and career development, as well as the career development of HRD scholars and practitioners, are appropriate for this track.
Track Chair Editor: Dr. Kimberly McDonald
Kimberly S. McDonald is a professor and chair of Organizational Leadership and Supervision at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Her research focus is on career development issues, ethics in HRD, and diversity education. She has published articles in several HRD and career-related journals. Prior to joining the university, she worked in training and development for service organizations.
